Copy of part of the draft of an intended report on the execution of Joshua Huddy. New York. Number 1. Communicating long and detailed information from Monmouth, which includes the late expedition for the relief of Captain Clayton Tilton and two other Loyalists, then prisoners with the Rebels. Their indignation being excited by the many murders of their brethren, and fearing that these men would receive a similar fate to that suffered by Philip White, they determined to retaliate and hung Huddy as an example, he being the chief agent in the recent murder of White.
