Full Description:
[Clinton] to Leslie. New York. Number 16. Acknowledges receipt of his letter of last month. In consequence of representation therein, if O'Hara has not sailed and if apprehensions are entertained for the safety of Charleston, he is to send 1,200 men instead of 2,000. A battalion will also be immediately sent from this place. The same as item 4500, marked 'The Exact Cypher Copy'.
