Full Description:
Board of Associated Loyalists. Minutes of the proceedings during the month of April 1782, taken from their journals. 3 April, includes, certificates signed for the hire of the sloop 'Association', report of prisoners taken at Tom's River, and the proposed post at Sag Harbour. 5 April, discusses the number of Whaleboats kept at Sappen Bay. 6 April, about the expedition up the North River. 8 April, the attaching of the Loyalists to the Provincial Regiments. While the 9 April entry, is the concerns over Captain Tilton being sacrificed to the violent resentment of the Rebels. Also reports from 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27 April. Note, one document placed in two following sections of the letter book.
