Full Description:
Clinton to Alexander Leslie. Reports that he has had no time to examine papers recently received or to consult with others on the matter in question before General O'Hara left New York. Has received no formal report on the execution of [Isaac] Hayne and considers it improper for him to give any opinuion as he is soon to resign his commission and depart.
