Full Description:
[New] Providence, Bahamas. Governor John Maxwell to the commanding officer at Charleston [Leslie]. Informs that he has been attacked by two large American frigates, some galleys and 40 transport vessels from Savannah with troops on board. He suggests that three British frigates would relieve him.
