Full Description:
John Karloch to Lieutenant-General Robertson. A letter of petition requesting provisions and some money to look after his family. Certificated by D. I. Browne, first Major of the 4th Battalion New Jersey Volunteers, plus from Samuel Isaacs, surgeon, as to the condition of his eyes, and from Abraham Van Buskirk as to his services. With an order from the aide-de-camp to be received into the poor house and £40 per annum that Colonel Morris put his name to.
