Full Description:
Troops. Account of expenses in the Barrack Master General's Department for the City of New York, New York Island, Paulus Hook, Long Island and Staten Island between May 5 to May 26 1782. During this time Lieutenant Colonel Crosbie continued at the request of Brook Watson, Commisary General, to carry on running the business of the said department. Attached is a memo dated Dec 16 1782 that Crosbie's account for £7608, 1s, 2d was certified by Major Duncan Drummond, Commissary of Accounts and approved by the Board and signed James Robertson, President.
