Full Description:
Major James Gordon to the Chevalier De La Luzerne. Lancaster. Informs Monsieur Luzerne that Captain Asgill has been made close prisoner and is to be sent to Philadelphia. He begs for his release from confinement on parole and refers to the '14th' Article of Capitulation rights in his letter.
