Full Description:
David Wright to Carleton. Petition. He had put himself and his wife under protection of His Majesty's arms at York [Yorktown], Virginia and the unexpected disaster to that place is the cause of his misfortunes. Asks for some provision. With a note asking Colonel Morris to put Wright on his New York list with provision for £20 for the quarter from 1 July to 30 September. Signed by Thomas Murray.
