Full Description:
Brigadier-General Cortland Skinner to Carleton. Acknowledges letter 'of 'the 9th in answer to his own of 'the 7th' relative to Hetfield and other refugees. Regrets attention has not been paid to these men agreeable to His Excellency's sentiments as then the disagreeable situation in regard to Lippincot would not have happened. Has no other evidence of facts relative to these men'.
