Full Description:
General Archibald Campbell. Secret intelligence from Havana. Gives detailed information on the state of the Spanish naval and land forces in the West Indies on 21 May, with the numbers of men and county militia, and American vessels at Havana (under Commodore Gillen). Details Spanish troops numbers garrisoning West Florida and Louisiana. Also 'A correct List of the Slaves and Free People of Colour in the Island of Cuba', the situation with regards to Porto Rico (owing to the cruelty of Spanish policy at Carthagena), and mention of the native [Quechua] Indian revolt at Quito [Peru].
