Full Description:
Carleton to the Earl of Shelburne. Six Documents. Number 4, papers and letters relative to the execution of Captain Huddy of the New Jersey Militia by Captain Lippincott on the Jersey shore. 'A Schedule of Enclosures' in a letter to the Secretary of State. Number 3, includes copies of 'Addresses' from the inhabitants of the city of New York and from the loyal refugees of the Province of New York with answers, along with a form of 'Address from the Associated Loyalists of Pensylvania and Maryland, and the three lower counties of Newcastle, Kent and Sussex on Delaware'. Number 5, copy of a letter from Rear Admiral Digby. Number 6, copy of letter from General Washington. Number 7, copy of letter from Governor Browne of Bermuda and a copy of letter from Governor Maxwell of the Bahamas.
