Full Description:
Carleton to the Earl of Shelburne. Captain Coote will have the honour of delivering this letter to your Lordship on account of the difficulty of the delay of exchanging prisoners. Carleton recommended it to him to return to Europe where he will be under Shelburne's protection and he has no doubt 'that he will be in all respects, deserving of the favour'.
