Full Description:
John Wetherhead to Carleton. New York. Has suffered much distress on account of his loyalty and complains of receiving no rent for a stable belonging to him which has been used by the Commander-in-Chief since 1776. Seeks redress for the injustice done to him by Captain Mercer respecting some more of his property. Refers to De Lancey for the truth of his statements, considers his sufferings and losses are equal to those experienced by other people who have already obtained assistance from the Treasury.
