Full Description:
East Florida. St Augustine, Commons House of Assembly. Three documents. Document 1, Resolved that the House will stand in the defence of the province. Document 2, Resolved that when the troops and garrison are removed it behoves the inhabitants to take every step for their defence and that 'this House' will support the measure 'with thier lives and fortunes'. Document 3, The Upper and Commons House of Assembly beg leave to suggest that as this province is appointed an asylum for all loyal refugees, whether they remain there or are sent here, along with His Excellency's answer.
