Full Description:
'Account of subsistence for 61 days to His Majesty's 1st Battalion, 42nd Regiment or Royal Highland Regiment, commanded by General Lord John Murray, from 25 April 1782 to 24 June following, both days inclusive'. Totalling £1918 4s 7d sterling , and signed by Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Graham and James Rose. Note at bottom of document, £472 8s 10d sterling to be deducted from the balance for 45,350 rations of provisions, balance to receive £1445 15s 8d and one half penny sterling.
