Full Description:
Leslie to Carleton. Charleston. Encloses some remarks which he wishes to have answered with respect to Lieutenant-Colonel Balfour, the intended evacuation, the army being sickly, and his being unable to go home before the autumn. His answering to General Robertson, the want of rum and not having the power to send home the 2nd Battalion of 71st Regiment as ordered.
