Full Description:
Enclosed report addressed to Carleton explains why the sending of ship's cannon and stores were delivered to the Royal Artillery at Boston in 1775, 'and were said to be sent from Bermuda to prevent their falling into the hands of the rebels then expected to seize the island'. The whole on examination were found unserviceable and left behind on the evacuation of Boston'.
