Full Description:
Henry Lane a refugee from Philadelphia. A letter from Adjutant General Delancey to Lieutenant-General James Robertson, recommending support for the applicant. Also, a petition from Henry Lane, Philadelphia about his imprisonment, services and sufferings and requests support and assistance. Letter marked 'Colonel Morris will be pleased to pay him ten pounds New York currency and charge it to this quarter's accounts. New York, 19 July 1782. Thomas Murray Aide-de-camp.'
