Full Description:
Campbell to Carleton, from Halifax. Number 3. Receipt of letters of 24 and 30 May by the Halifax. Answers, 24 and 26 June sent by the Cornwallis. Nothing material has happended since his last letter. It has been necessary to have troops camp out as barracks are being repaired. Captain Dunbar is commanding the Grenadier Company of 70th Regiment; Captain Burns and Lieutenant Tonge have gone to New York recruiting as requested by Lieutenant-Colonel Goreham.
