Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Benjamin Thompson to Carleton. New York. Memorial on behalf of himself and the officers of the King's American Dragoons. Humbly begs leave to represent that having by very great exertions raised upwards of twenty men, over and above the number stipulated by the original proposals approved by the king, and having in all other respects on their part complied with and fulfilled the considions set forth in those proposals, they humbly conceive themselves entitled to the advantages therein promised, and pray that Carleton would be pleased to order that they may enjoy them.
