Jacobus Cropsey to Carleton. Narrows. Petition. Praying that a barn, billet room and cellar belonging to him now occupied by the British Legion, may be given up to him. Complaining also of the conduct of the soldiers under Major Hanger who have killed his most valuable horses, wounded others with their swords, pulled up his corn, not to mention stealing his poultry. A note in another hand says that it is remarkable that the horses killed as above, and others in the neighbourhood have been quarterd and carried off to feed hounds.
