Full Description:
Major Richard Baily. List of regiments on the coast of the Atlantic under General Sir Guy Carleton, for which clothing has been shipped on board the 'Lawrie' transport ship under Captain Ramsay, and completed 9 August 1782. Mentions that clothing for the foot has been sent from Ireland. No clothing having been shipped for: the 17th Light Dragoons, detachments of the Foot Guards, 23rd, 33rd and 84th Regiments. The agents for those corps having reported to His Majesty's Secretary at War that there is already in North America, sufficient supplies in store for the present year.
