Full Description:
Comte De Rochambeau to Carleton. Baltimore. Has received his of 'the 1st instant' and now sends the paroles of Majors'Green and Thimpany. Has no direct dispatches from his court and only knows of the state of negotiations through Carleton's letters and the public papers. Ardently desires peace so as to 'reunite two nations which ought to have sentiments of esteem for each other, and it would give him the opportunity to become more particularly and personally acquainted'.
