Full Description:
Thomas Townsend to Carleton. Whitehall. 3 Documents. 1, Carleton has been appointed Colonel of the 84th Regiment of Foot, or Royal Highland Emigrants. 2, Has laid several of Carleton's letters before the king, relative to the unauthorised execution of Captain Huddy by Captain Lippincott, and of the unprecedented and extraordinary resolution by General Washington with regard to Captain Asgill. 3, Transmitting and discussing the two letters from Monsieur De Vergennes, the French Minister at Paris.
