Full Description:
Army Victualling Office. Cowes [Isle of Wight]. 2 Documents. An account of provisions delivered into His Majesty's army victualling stores at Cork and Cowes, upon the contracts for supplying 40,000 troops at New York, and secondly for those in the Carolina's for the current year, and which provisions have been applied to other services. Showing the rations, the said provisions form of the different species for that number of men. Listed under 'Where Delivered, Pounds of Flour, Beef, Pork, Oatmeal, Butter, Bushels of Pease'. Signed by George Cherry, Agent.
