Full Description:
Brigadier-General John Campbell to Carleton. Halifax [Nova Scotia]. Transmits duplicate of a letter 'of 17th inst'. The German recruits lately arrived are in want of many necessaries, blankets or bedding. They have no cartridge boxes, drums, side arms, camp kettles or tent hatchets.
