Full Description:
John Richard Falconer, Lieutenant Royal Navy to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury. Memorial. Commanded the armed brig 'Polly' from 1776 April 12 to 1779 July 24 on Lake Champlain. Recommended several times by Carleton for promotion but this not happening he resigned. He has, since his return to England, unsuccessfully sought payment of arrears from Messrs Mure Son & Atkinson, who had chartered the vessel. Therefore prays the Commissioners will obtain justice for him.
