Full Description:
Alured Clarke, Lieutenant Colonel of the 7th Regiment to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Recites his service since 1776 which he feels prevented his representing the hardship of his case; that he has suffered the severe mortification of three junior lieutenant-colonels, two of whom he names as being in service with him, being promoted before him. Prays that his case be laid before the King to obtain redress.
