Full Description:
J Yeates to John Tailyour. Lancaster. He is advised by Tailyour's counsel in Philadelphia that on putting in his claim for merchandise attached by order of the Supreme Court, a stipulation as to costs must be entered into which Yeates has done. Whether the trial will be at the bar or at nisi prius is not yet known. The matter will probably depend on the validity of the safe conduct of the stores given by General Washington. To this purpose it will be necessary to procure the 'Let Pass' issued by Washington and any letters written between officers on the subject. General Hazen will also be a material witness. Advises him to return to Philadelphia as soon as possible.
