Full Description:
Earl of Huntingdon to Carleton. Donington Park. Requesting permission for one Bonapace, an Italian, to sell his lieutenancy in the 60th, which he attained without purchase, as he has the best of prospects arising from his service in the Carolina and Georgia. Lord Rawdon can give particulars concerning him. He was also an intimate acquaintance of the late Mr Murray, late ambassador to the Porte [i.e. the Ottoman Sultan in Constantinolple], who died on his way home and who, as his patron, had invited him to join him in England.
