Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Warrant to pay Mr Isaac Haulenbeck, paymaster to the 3rd Battalion of New Jersey Volunteers, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Arbraham Buskirk, the sum of £1074 7s 2d sterling. Being pay for the said battalion from 25 June to 24 August 1782, both days inclusive as per the annexed account. From this the sum, 330 9s 6d sterling is to be detained for stoppage, also £184 1s 3d being for 17,670 rations of provisions issued from 25 June to 24 ugust 1782.
