Full Description:
Leslie to Carleton. Charleston. Number 11. Received duplicate of letter and will give every attention to the several articles of instructions therein contained. Further discussion includes, the fleet for St Augustine [Florida] being nearly ready to sail, the troops to be commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel McArthur, and the supply of ordnance and stores. The embarkation of the artillery, the sequestered 'negroes', and the copy of the letter from the Treasury with regard to the officers salaries.
