General Henry Seymour Conway to Carleton. London. Thinks Captain Lloyd who purchased his adjutancy in the 43rd for £400, is entitled to sell that adjutancy or be reimbursed the money paid in any manner thought best. Suggests a blank commission be sent home to be disposed of for his use on account of the regulation subsisting against disposing of adjutants commissions.
