Ann Huitson to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Is the widow of Captain James Huitson who was brought to an ignomineous death. Since then his wife has been left in the bitterness of misery and lingered in the wretchedness arising from the cruelty of her prosecutors who stripped her of all property. Destitute of all support, had the recommendation of the Mayor of Albany and other respectable characters. She was allowed two rations and four shillings per day, but this has been reduced so begs consideration of her severe sufferings.
