Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel C De Horn to Carleton. New York. Memorial. That he has on occasion to ask for the sum of £800 sterling on account of subsistence for the 3rd Regiment of Waldeck under his command. He therefore takes the liberty to request the favour of Your Excellency 'to be so obliging as to grant Mr Philip Mare, Commissary of the said regiment, a temporary warrant for that amount to be hereafter accounted for when a final warrant is granted'.
