Full Description:
Governor Patrick Tonyn to Carleton. St Augustine, Florida. Discussion with regard to being authorised to arm every male inhabitant within the province in case of rebellion or invasion, the numbers of suitable men available, and the refugees destined for the province. The fortifications and defence of the town, gives thanks for his bills being honoured, and says that he is directed by His Majesty to apply for every military defence and assistance.
