Full Description:
Lieutenant-General Lossberg to Carleton. Bayards House. The Hessian troops here being in great need of clothing, a supply of which has arrived at Halifax with recruits from Hesse. Desires that these be ordered to proceed to New York without delay and requests a passage at the same time to be given to Harnier (Commissary-General to the Hessian troops), as he is required to settle the accounts. Harnier will state what baggage is reqiured for New York.
