Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 15. Warrant to pay Mr Isaac Haulenbeck, paymaster to the 3rd Battalion of New Jersey Volunteers, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Abraham Buskirk, the sum of £1074 7s 2d sterling. Being pay for the said battalion from 25 June to 24 August 1782, both days included as per the annexed accounts. From which the sum of £30 9s 6d sterling is to be detained, being stoppage.
