Samuel Goldsbury to [Colonel Willard]. Huntingdon Harbour. He expected to bring over a greater number of cattle but delays had driven stock back to look for forage. He has brought 20 head of cattle over, ready, if wanted. The inhabitants wish to supply them with cattle and other produce on board. They said that no one in Fort Newhaven would harm them. Captain Thomas of the 'Aprication' who was down the Sound on business, informs him that several people armed themselves to prevent interruption from the Rebels. Would like him to inform Mr Watson that a large number of cattle is ready to be moved across the Sound.
