Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Donkin to Carleton. London. As Lieutenant Hewetson has been promoted to be captain, submits a memorial for his consideration. Would wish the adjutant to proceed to Bermuda with all expedition and requests that the appointment may be signified in orders at his pleasure, Adjutant Dunn having reported his resignation in favour of Sergeant-Major Lisle. The two companies here which were taken at [New] Providence [by the Spanish] will it is hoped be able to return to New York in the spring.
