Full Description:
Donkin to Carleton. London. Memorial. Has been pleased to promote Lieutenant Hewetson to be Captain, submits the enclosed for Carleton's consideration, and the Adjutant Dunn having reported to him his resignation in favour of Sergeant-Major Thomas Lisk, 10 September last. The two companies of the regiment here that were taken at Providence [the Bahamas] he hopes will recover sufficiently to be able to return in the spring to New York.
