Full Description:
Governor Patrick Tonyn to Lieutenant-Colonel McArthur. St. Augustine. Presents his compliments and begs leave to request a return of the strength of the garrison as soon as can be conveniently done. As Carleton mentions, the four corpst hat they were to be completed: the Kings Rangers, the South Carolina Regiment, the North Carolina Regiment, and the North Carolina Highlanders, which last he finds does not exist. The Governor likewise requests that as there is no Provincial engineer immediately under the governor's command, McArthur will be pleased to direct an engneer to make out a plan of the fortification to be transmitted to the Commander-in-Chief as soon as possible.
