Full Description:
Loyalists. 'A Return of Refugees and their slaves arrived from Georgia and South Carolina in the evacuation of those provinces', from July to 13 November 1782, taken upon oath, exclusive of those who arrived in the province before that period. Totalling 2,165 white men, women and children, and 3,340 'negroe' men, women and children. Signed by J Winniett, Inspector of Refugees.
