Full Description:
Paterson to Carleton. Halifax. Number 4. Detailed discussion which includes the fuel for the troops, the sending of only half the reinforcements to Penobscot, and the transport of baggage, camp equipage and stores. The store keeper's report of the state of the arms is enclosed, no medicines have arrived, and that he has directed an inspection of the men unfit for duty in order to their being discharged. Also enclosed is a 'state of the Provincial Forces in this province, the British troops being hutted', and begs leave to enclose a letter from the surgeon to the hospital. The public accounts, sailing of the fleet, and appointments and grants of leave.
