Full Description:
Carleton to Townshend. New York. 5 letters, numbered 35 to 39, plus a schedule of enclosures for number 37. Transmitting documents received, all dated 15 November 1782. Covering the movement of the troops from Charleston after the evacuation, observations on the actions of the Conventions sent to Lieutenant-General Leslie, copies of correspondence to General Haldimand, and the refugees who have recently passed into Nova Scotia. The troops under Monsieur Rochambeau, and a letter received from Chevalier De La Luzerne.
