Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 201. Warrant to pay Colonel Roger Morris, Inspector of the Claims of Refugees the sum of £4,227 14s 2d sterling. Being to enable him to pay sundry refugees the several sums against each of their names set down in the account lodged in his hand as a quarterly allowance for their support, from the 1 October to 31 December 1782 inclusive, agreeable to the recommendation of a board appointed to examine into their respective circumstances and claims, for the several payments of which he is to be accountable.
