Full Description:
[Carleton] to the Duke of Richmond. New York. Forwards an enclosed representation from Brigadier-General Martin who commands the Royal Artillery here. Sends also a list of appointments. Mr Nutting and his son are arrived, shall immediately employ the father according to his wish at Penobscot and as soon as an opportunity offers, will provide for the son. Has granted Martin leave to go home, Captain Ludlow of the Guards as he supposes arrived and made his bow to Your Grace, an honor Carleton hopes to have in a short time.
