Full Description:
John Hutton to Carleton. Memorial. Has served 37 years in the army, upwards of which 17 years were in Canada and different parts of America, during which his conduct has ever gained him the approbation of his officers. Has saved 300 guineas but by the capture of a transport in which his money was sent with the baggage of the regiment from New York to Philadelphia, has lost all. Begs consideration and such provision as may seem meet.
