Full Description:
Ezekiel Lewis to Sir Guy Carleton, Commander-in-Chief at New York. His petition as a refugee from Boston. That he is one of the number who receives the Governor's bounty through Colonel Morris, that he is going to Jamaica with a large family and will be no further expense to the government. Requests a year's allowance which will enable him to pay some small debts and bear his expenses, which without he will be unable to go.
